Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including that of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated features featuring models. Alexandra was involved in a variety of significant international and national productions throughout her career. One of these is the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and the French historical mini-series Napoleon. Additionally, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
